About Theresa

Theresa Ulfa is an accomplished spiritual practitioner who uses her skill set to help others awaken and heal.

Theresa was flooded with the realization of the White Drop at age 5. Her intuition, love of God and experience maneuvering the subtle planes were present throughout her childhood. She began meditating and practicing subtle healing modalities at age 13. At 19, she began entering Samadhi states after a transmission from late spiritual teacher, W. Brugh Joy. At age 23, Theresa began her working partnership with Geoffrey Ulfa. Together they discovered  Theresa’s ability to use various kinds of light to clear and activate subtle body structures. Geoffrey facilitated the activation of her kundalini and she began entering deep savikalpa states shortly after. At age 24, Theresa realized the Blue Drop/Blue Pearl entering a permanent samadhi state traditionally described as the realization of universal consciousness. It took several years to stabilize this realization and it profoundly impacted her work. Theresa continued to cultivate various internal work and realizations with help from Geoffrey and her internal teachers, primarily Upasni Maharaj, Ekajati and Saraswati. She also developed and continued her work for others between having children. Her practice has evolved to center largely on compassion and encourages others to integrate compassion into their own personal practice. At age 29, Theresa began offering group transmissions and founded Inner Currents with her husband, Geoffrey Ulfa. Between 2020 and 2021, at age 34, Theresa facilitated the realization of the White Drop and the entering of samadhi states to a small group of people devoted to their spiritual work. She and Geoffrey continue to support students and community members with tools, practices and instruction for cultivating Samadhi states, as well as offering regular transmissions at low or no cost to as wide a community as possible.

Her internal work is a combination of learned and innate skills. Her ability to open up foundational “light” or source allows her to make changes to the subtle body. Some believe she is an emanation of Nila Saraswati, a form of the Mahavidya Tara. Internally people sometimes see her as blue or even frightening looking at times. Her internal ferocity is only directed at the things that restrain us from dharma, happiness and our spiritual progress. Her goal is to make serious spiritual work and accomplishment available to as many people as possible, especially those traditionally excluded from the teachings and opportunities to gain realization.

She and Geoffrey live in Eastern Kansas with their two young children.

Through one-on-one consultations, workshops, and her year-long birth chart intensive, Christina helps clients develop a deeper sense of perspective and compassion for their unique paths. She teaches a practical, insight-focused course on the zodiac designed to help individuals apply their natal astrology in everyday life and mentors developing astrologers who are deepening their study and practice. Her private practice, Skies of Grace Astrology, is complemented by her work with Inner Currents, where she serves on the board and helps offer free astrology resources and support for a diverse, interfaith spiritual community.

Before working in astrology, Christina spent over a decade in documentary film, media, and social impact campaigns, where she developed skills in storytelling, facilitation, and community work. She now draws on that background to bring a creative, socially engaged lens to her astrology and future counseling work.

Christina is currently pursuing graduate training in counseling (MFT/LPCC track at CSU Fullerton) with the goal of integrating her background in astrology and spiritual work into evidence-based counseling approaches that support those healing from spiritual trauma. At the heart of all her work is love, gratitude, and respect for the wisdom traditions that have carried astrology forward for thousands of years.

About Paige

Paige Hetherington is an acupuncturist, death doula & midwife and dedicated Tibetan Buddhist practitioner who offers monthly Chö ceremonies co-hosted by Inner Currents.

Paige’s curiosity around death and dying began at 2 years of age with the death of her mother. At this time, our Western society did not have the language around the subject of impermanence and loss that we have today. After graduating from Cornell University, she fine-tuned her skills in the subtle realms and energy work by studying plants used by traditional healers, completing an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training program and becoming a Medical Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist.

While treating a significant number of terminally ill patients in her Los Angeles acupuncture practice, Paige became inspired to train as a hospice volunteer. Fueled by a desire for connection and service she formally became a Death Doula and Midwife in 2013, where she trained in conscious dying guidance, planning, family-directed funerals and green burials.  In 2018, by following an inner calling to provide even more support, she began the practice of the Tibetan Bardo ceremonies and has continued a commitment to these traditions through the Buddhist lineage of Chö.

For Paige, the prayers and meditations she shares during her ceremonies and at the bedside of those who have asked her to support their death journey have become a lifestyle choice filled with the art of compassion and peace.

Paige leads monthly Tibetan Healing Chö Group Ceremonies both online and in person nationally. She also travels to Asia every other year to study, practice and organize group trips with mentors in the sacred lands of the tradition’s origins.

Paige’s contact with humanity in its most intimate arenas enables her to support easeful transformation in her healing work and gentle guidance at the end of life. She is available to support you and your loved ones both in-person and virtually.
